- The choir has lost motivation and basically refuses to rehearse.

Both of us have been there. And recently, as we were discussing various issues we've had in the past and new ones we're in the midst of, we realized it would be nice if there were somewhere you could go for a fresh perspective, a sympathetic ear and resources you hadn't thought of.
Like you, we've spent a lot of time performing GOOGLE searches with our fingers crossed hoping that we'll hit the jackpot and a magic link will appear that will answer all of our questions. Unfortunately, that doesn't happen nearly often enough and we're left trying to cobble together some sort of solution that we can't be sure will work because no one has ever tried it before.
It was after a particularly frustrating search recently that we had the epiphany to start this blog. As we both have extensive experience in various facets of music and music education, we thought we could share some of that with our peers. This blog is place where we'll share some of our teaching experiences and research that we've done on various topics in music performance and music techniques and music education.
Because of our varied experiences, these posts will be from the perspective of the Public School Music Educator as well as a Private Music Instructor, and of course performers.
We're going to do our best to make the upcoming posts varied and valid. But if there is a topic or question you have, feel free to leave a comment and we'll see what we can do to address it.
